Golf Boys

All players interested in playing golf for the TRHS team must attend both days of tryouts. We will have tryouts the first week of August. All golfers must play both days to qualify for the team. After tryouts we will cut to 10 – 14 . We will not know how many players we can keep on the team until we secure practice facilities, but it will be 10 -14 players. Seniors will only make the team if they are in the top five. The  Continental League does not allow seniors to play J.V. 

Tryouts will be held at:  

University of Denver Golf Club August 4th at DU Golf Course (Highlands Ranch GC) first tee time is 11:10 am.  Please be there early enough to warm up. Cost is $38  for 18 holes, please pay the course.

The Links Golf Club August 5th the first tee time is 11:32am. Please be there early enough to warm up. The cost is $30 for 18 holes, please pay the course.

-Each player must pay the course for the cost of tryout rounds and range balls -Also, we will complete 18 holes both days so please clear your schedules for the  afternoon/evening.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 

– Athletic permission forms MUST be completed and uploaded in your registration record prior to tryouts. Registration will open on Monday, July 21st.

If you make the team a few things you should know: 

– You might miss a lot of school; thus, you must be a good student. If you do not keep the grades up you can no longer practice or play on the team. 

– Participation on the team will cost about $500 dollars in addition to the $200 school athletic fee (I will explain this in detail to those who make the team).
