About GBBC
The Grizzly Bear Backer Club (GBBC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to keep all ThunderRidge fundraising efforts school-based, program-specific, and easily accessible to coaches. Our structure ensures clean, compliant tax reporting and significantly reduces the bookkeeping burden that comes with the volume of fundraising at TRHS. Because of GBBC’s nonprofit status, 100% of your fees and fundraising dollars stay at ThunderRidge—not routed through the district—giving you quick access to your funds and full control over how they’re used.

Mission

Our mission is simple: to support ThunderRidge sports, clubs, and activities by managing funds responsibly, keeping money within each program, and helping every team remain successful and sustainable.

Financial Management Support
Each club/team has access to the GBBC bookkeeper, who handles invoices, deposits, and monthly account reports. Our treasurer is also an excellent resource for budgeting and planning future expenses. Think of them as your program’s financial secretary—no more relying on parent volunteers to manage funds or track them down years later for tax reporting. This keeps expectations clear for both finances and parent roles.

GBBC also manages all tax reporting for funds raised at the school, so when you use our bookkeeping services, you don’t need to worry about tax compliance—we handle it for you.

Additional GBBC Benefits

  • Access to PayPal POS/Zettle credit card processing if needed
  • Use of our Snowballfundraising platform, including a personalized QR code for your team/club. This QR code—featuring your logo—can be used for:
    • Text/Email-to-Give campaigns
    • Concessions
    • Team fees
    • Silent auction payments
    • Raffles
    • Door to Door fundraising; i.e Restaurant card sales, wreaths, peaches, etc.
    • Anytime you need to collect funds quickly and easily
  • Reporting on all funds collected through your QR code
  • Option for two separate QR codes (simply provide two logos)
