Soccer Girls

ThunderRidge High School’s girls soccer program has established itself as one of Colorado’s premier programs, built on a tradition of excellence, competitive consistency, and team-first culture. Since the school opened in 1995, the Grizzlies have earned four Colorado state championships, capturing back-to-back Class 4A titles in 1999 and 2000, adding another championship in 2002, and most recently winning the Class 5A state title in 2023. The 2023 championship run showcased the resilience and determination that have defined ThunderRidge soccer for decades, as the Grizzlies defeated several higher-seeded opponents before defeating Rock Canyon 1-0 in the state final to claim the program’s fourth state crown. With a rich history of player development, strong coaching leadership, and sustained success at the highest level of Colorado high school soccer, ThunderRidge continues to be recognized as one of the state’s elite girls soccer programs.
